The Catador and Catiator survived NYC


I am happy to report that my new artkicks tackled New York City's streets with the same vigor as the warriors drawn on them.

Of course wearing kick-ass, custom drawn shoes is amazing, but the thing I didn't anticipate was how they would become a talking point on my trip. People started recognizing me in the elevator because of my shoes and reprimanded me for wearing my art in the rain.

The big take away here:
Strangers aren't afraid to talk to if you wear cool shoes. A special thanks to Evan Schultz for crafting these kittens.
