Country Living Fair

Sometimes when you're in your 20's, you need to pretend you're in your 50's. And what better thing to do as a middle-aged woman, than go to the Country Living Fair where you can peruse antiques and animal murals under the beautiful blue sky? But for real, it was fun.

DIY Light Box

As just about anyone on Etsy will tell you, great photos are the first step to success.  So, in my quest for better product photography for my shop, I decided to test out this DIY light box tutorial. 

 

Making the box was easy, although I wish I had selected a larger box size to start with. Then, I took the box outside into some 90° sunshine and took the pictures. Granted I’m still shooting on my iPhone, so there is lots of room for improvement but the box itself provides for an easy and eye-pleasing background.
