What they don't tell you about New York City

I went to New York City for the first time with 31 other students from the University of Oregon for the One Club student competition. We didn't win any awards but I discovered some amazing things in New York. Here are a few.Shopping carts are valued as much as bikes here. All sewer grates in NYC are imported from India. I can't imagine the cost of shipping and handling on these puppies.
The mannequins here think gang rape is okay.
Cats love to sit in baskets on the street here.

Scrunchie stands are giving souvenir shops a run for their money.

The movies don't lie. Dogs really do get tangled up with other dogs in Central Park, whether or not it ends in a romantic affair between the two owners is still in question.

Despite rumors, New Yorkers are friendly but the bushes there are not.
