Thank you for your card, but please stop spitting on me.

I don't know why, but when ad people network with drinks, the saliva starts to flow.

A Cautionary Tale

Bed bugs are real people. Believe.

(And, no, my bed bugs aren't back. Don't take this blog so seriously.)

Naked Pizza box boy

Someone please explain this scary pizza box to me. Why did he take off his pants before going to pick up his pizza?

Most of you will think this is boring.

Elderly women make for some of the best storytellers, especially when they try to talk over each other.

Tell your grandma you love her next time you see her.

“At least you aren’t pregnant”

Since I’ve moved to New York, I have made this my new mantra.
I must admit, I stole a little inspiration from POKE’s “Don’t give up” motto when making my new wall poster.

Regardless of its origins, "At least you aren't pregnant" carries an important message. Things could always be worse; we could be pregnant.

For all the young female professionals out there- just image how bad things could be. Sure, you’re an unpaid intern and don’t sleep much but, think about being 20 lbs heavier, moody, vomiting, gassy and having to figure out how to care for a soon-to-be wee one.

Awful. Pure awful.

So ladies, next time you get stuck working on the weekend or lose your Metro card, remember: It’s not all that bad.

And if you are pregnant, I’m sorry. Unless you want to be, then congratulations!

P.S. Mom this post doesn’t mean that I’m doing things you’d wouldn’t want me to do.

P.P.S. I think Kotex should make a new line of tampons targeted toward teens using this as a tagline.

*I apologize if this post offends any of you.

Read it again.

This sign, posted above the emergency exist at my subway stop, is one of my top five favorite things about my new home. (People still use the emergency exit on a daily basis in what seem to be nonemergency situations.)
